Maryland Masonic Homes, a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) nestled in the rolling hills of Hunt Valley, Maryland, has an exciting opportunity in the Building Management Department for a Maintenance Technician II. Maryland Masonic Homes first opened in 1934, and the community was an infirmary and dormitory for Master Masons and their families. Today, Maryland Masonic Homes is a Continuing Care Retirement Community available to the public with 31 Independent Living units, 70 Assisted Living units, and 88 healthcare beds.
The Maintenance Mechanic II reports to the Director of Building Management and is responsible for the general maintenance of the entire facility and is expected to perform general maintenance duties throughout the complex with little or no supervision.
Performs general maintenance duties in the following:
The work of this classification entails the performance of heavy physical labor, including bending, stooping, climbing ladders, lifting and carrying heavy objects, and the operation of tools and equipment. Some duties require exposure to potentially hazardous conditions such as adverse weather, sewage and electricity. Potential exposure to biological hazards including infectious diseases and body fluids.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean 3 year MVR. A resume is required to be submitted for this position.
